I don’t have the option to turn it off yet, but chances are good that my dash is still affected. Chances are good that y'all have been affected. Whatever you do, keep checking your settings tab for the ability to TURN THIS OFF. Because we creators are gonna suffer from this.

Don’t just like this. It needs to be spread so people know. Not only will your feed be out of chronological order, but creators who aren’t hella popular are suffering lack of exposure because of this. This is the one thing i WILL pressure to reblog.

I want to say that I absolutely benefited from the old dash. I knew when to post to get my things seen. I just make gifs and sometimes edits. But for the original content creator’s, the authors, the artist’s this is devastating to their success. Tumblr is alot of things - but supportive of original art is one of the constants. Let’s not make this bad for the artist’s and I want you to be in control of what you see. Keep checking the settings, change it, spread this. And if all else fails send your work to me. I’ll try and get it out there, I’ll try to help.

It’s only permissible when the original is more than 700px long at 500px wide and would look shit if cropped (eg, a long comic strip that would lose detail/readability if shrunken).

Yessss. I’m not sure if this or the thing where you layer a bunch of ugly filters over a perfectly good picture is my biggest tumblr annoyance. Just leave it aloooone.

It’s so weird when the spam porn tumblrs reblog and like some random old post of yours. If they were smart, they’d at least pick something recent so I might feel inclined to look. Of course, if they were smart, they also wouldn’t have usernames like aljdlasjdaksjdnc.

Quite frankly it’s really annoying when people make nothing out of something. If there are not any women that fit the criteria, then they shouldn’t be hired. Unless you find evidence that it was a sexist move then it shouldn’t be considered one. If I were him I would have gotten pissed off and aggressive too. You don’t know these people, you don’t know their credentials. You’re obviously calling him a sexist for hiring people who fit the job description, and don’t fill the gender quota. He’s clearing asking, “Oh hey you, Fine. You don’t like who I hire, who should I hire? Should I hire a woman just so I can keep my percentage up, or should I hire someone because of their credentials?”

I WAS WAITING FOR THIS REBLOG.  Frankly, I’m surprised someone didn’t say something along these lines earlier.  But yes, there are actually no women that fit the criteria.  None! Why hire any of the women listed here when you can hire Rob Liefeld (genius artist!), Adam Beechen (dazzling writer!), or Tony Daniel (amazing writer!!).

I mean, I just don’t understand where you’re coming from.  You honestly believe there are no women they could’ve hired?  Especially when some of the men attached to the reboot frequently produce less than impressive work?  And in any case, no, there is no reason for the co-publisher of DC Comics to get that aggressive with a fan at a fan convention, even if he didn’t agree with the person asking the question.

Uh, did everyone other than me know that if you turn off automatic post load on your dashboard that you can page through to the next page by using your left and right arrow keys? I could have been not clicking all this time!
