you know how we all joke about Tsukishima connecting Yamaguchi’s freckles like a constellation on his skin? imagine that. imagine how that would actually be such a soft, quiet moment. something shared and sacred. imagine Tsukki lying on Yamaguchi’s back as they watch a movie together in Tsukki’s basement. it’s hot out today, so Yamaguchi is shirtless. imagine how, sure Tsukki is tall and big and always defended Yamaguchi as kids, but Yamaguchi is actually pretty broad-shouldered, pretty strong. his back is wide and his skin is smooth beneath Tsukki’s chin. he turns his face and lets his cheek rest against Yamaguchi’s back, and he can feel the heat of Tadashi’s body, can feel the steady, strong pulsing of his heart. imagine Tsukki using Yamaguchi’s eyeliner, lazily drawing little constellations and pictures on and between and with the freckles that litter Yamaguchi’s back like stardust. imagine the quiet peace between them. imagine the hum of the box fan in the window, the chirping of birds in the trees outside, the occasional buzz of cicadas as they roast in the summer heat. imagine these two boys, so tender and soft with each other, spending an afternoon together. Yamaguchi turns underneath Tsukki, and Tsukishma gripes and complains, but he feels a thrill in his fingers and arms as all that beautiful skin rubs against him, as those broad shoulders press into him, as Yamaguchi leans up and wraps his arms around Tsukki’s neck, smiling and giggling quietly to him, only to him, and then they kiss.
