“So I suppose that ends another chapter on my life,” Gentaro said, looking up to the topmost stone to find his friend’s name. “It seems like a rather lot of chapters for twenty-six years, don’t you think? Possibly there’s spillover from another one of my lives.”
He could almost picture it, the way his friend used to laugh and call him melodramatic. It was the thing that grounded him in the early days, though Gentaro had more ways of doing that now.
“But try not to miss me too much, I’m sure I’ll return to you in due time. And thank you, as always, for listening,” Gentaro said, touching his lips to his fingertips before pressing them to the memorial again.
He stood up and straightened his shoulders and, with his last goodbyes, walked away from his old life, at least for the time being.

Future fic where Dice and Gentaro get out of Shibuya for a while. This baby holds all the cliches: slow burn, gambling, bedsharing, house sharing, pathetic Gentaro, angst, no more angst, mic battles, Ramuda. You name it!

New fic! Dice/Gentaro, M, 5300 words. Dice is a stray and Gentaro doesn’t understand human feelings.
Dice’s kidney is safe. The rest of him, too, after Gentaro uses his prettiest words and parts with a decent amount of money to solve Dice’s latest problem.
“You know,” Gentaro says as he lets Dice inside his apartment, “sometimes men who want your body aren’t going to wait for you to offer it first. Sometimes they just take it.”
Dice groans as he steps past the threshold and takes off his shoes, lining them up neatly against the wall without Gentaro even having to ask. That’s nice. Unexpected, but nice. “You don’t have to put it like that,” says Dice. “The guy was gonna cut out my internal organs, not ruin my reputation.”
