To begin, please tell us about your energy going into this production.
Daigo: Probably the biggest feeling is… “Let’s do this!” I’ve been told that this is the most popular match of the entire series, so I think there’s been a lot of anticipation for it. I want to work properly on creating this and presenting it to the audience.
Akana: We could only do a few performances of the previous production, The Strongest Challengers, so we were frustrated. I had thought that doing stage work was this certain, guaranteed thing, but I was reminded that nothing is for certain. And because of that, I’ve become really grateful for this. It’s a difficult time right now, but we’re taking precautions. We want to make a show that’ll hopefully make you so happy that you’ll forget about the current day-to-day.
