In case anyone needed reassuring, the Bruno and Boots movies are amazing. Two have been out in Canada for a while, but they were made available on Netflix US last week, and I had such a great time watching them. Good mix of nostalgia and modern updating, nearly everyone’s in character, and none of the changes they made bothered me.
I swear there were only two yesterday but now I’m seeing three?? Happy Canada day I guess!

Boots, brandishing a cast-iron frying pan, handed Bruno a pot to use as a weapon. The exchange brought them to a halt, and they stood frozen in time for a few seconds, staring at each other. Neither spoke, but the question was obvious.
