“Hello!” Iida said, exactly two hours later. He tried a big friendly wave and smile, but his new classmate eyed both warily and clutched his suitcase harder. “Welcome to the 1-A dorms. I’m your class representative –”
“I know you already,” Shinsou interrupted, which was fairly rude! “Exit sign guy.”
Iida pursed his lips. “I suppose you could call me that.”
Shinsou smiled, a little tired-looking, but genuine. “I’m kidding,” he said. “Iida, right? I remember you from the festival. Besides, I do my homework.”
“That’s good,” Iida said encouragingly. “Homework completion is an important component of academic success.”
