A Fallen Planet, Remembered: Six Years Ago Today, Pluto Was Demoted

I mentioned Pluto being demoted to someone a couple weeks ago, and they were like, “WAIT, ARE YOU SERIOUS?” and I felt bad, because I had to unexpectedly deliver some true life realness about how even planets get laid off.
I don’t know why I’m the world’s most humorless person about this topic but every time it comes up I’m like PLUTO SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN A PLANET SO GET A CLUE. FUCK OFF, PLUTO. WISH WE’D KICKED YOU TO THE CURB YEARS AGO. I need to calm down because no one will ever agree with me.
I can’t believe I lived with you for three years and didn’t know you were a Pluto hater.
Hannah and I are aligned in our Pluto-hating. It’s one of those things I feel really strongly about, along with Girl Scout cookie names.
