yo just rewatching the flash episode where barry goes back in time a year for evil wells’ help and, okay, so in the first iteration of this timeline, hartley threatens cisco in wonderful and terrible ways, gives hints about ronnie’s fate, and then ultimately escapes. but in the second go-around, he doesn’t escape because LOL BARRY FUCK WITH TIME MORE, but winds up making dementor references to complement cisco’s earlier dementor references and then saving himself, caitlin, and cisco with his gauntlets. then a year later he’s good and working with the team on like a contractor basis and maybe sort of reconciled with his parents, and that’s GREAT and basically everything i want. but before barry leaves for the present again, wells also TWICE tells cisco to leave hartley in his cell despite cisco’s suggestions to the contrary, so sweet jesus how long was non-metahuman hartley rathaway in that pipeline cell before evil wells let him out??

Disgust has absolutely no ethical weight. If you are basing your ethical positions on the emotion of disgust you should stop, it is entirely unjustified and leads to a huge amount of harm.

When you read, do you prefer reading in past tense (he said,) or do you prefer reading in the present tense (he says)? Reblogs for sample size genuinely would help not for note grabs
