A Rather Tumultuous Imperial Palace Run - Haikyuu!! Light Novel Vol. 9: Spring High Inside Story
This is hilarious, so I figured I’d better write a summary of it. Well, that was the plan, but towards the end I got carried away and ends up writing a translation rather than summary.
The story is about Tsukishima accompanying the oddball duo out for a run the night before Spring High. Well I said accompanying, but it’s more like Ennoshita make him babysit them. As expected of the next captain.
Is it just me or Tsukihina has finally became official?
First the Minions on 29 Dec (Hinata said Tsukishima looked like them and Tsukki not only didn’t get angry but he mimicked them!)
Then on New Year’s Eve, when Tsukishima tried to escape, Hinata found out and stopped him without even looking back!
And today, HINATA SIBLINGS VS TSUKISHIMA SIBLINGS! And Tsukki was so cute! (the Hinatas too!)
Don’t forget the smart phone game makes a Tsukihina memory card,
and the ongoing lead battle for Tsukihina theme.
And the official novel Vol 9, OMG, it is also filled with Tsukihina! (Especially within the chapter where Hinata and Kageyama jogged and Tsukki followed them by bicycle. There are so many dialogue between Tsukki and Hinata)

TL Note: They are playing hanetsuki, a traditional Japanese game that is often played during New Year, which is similar to badminton without a net, with hagoita, which are the rectangular wooden paddles. The Hakone Ekiden is a university relay marathon held between Tokyo and Hakone on 2-3 January, and telecast live.
PS: One wonders if the two kids clinging to Daichi are his little siblings…

omg this is so NICE. THANK YOU!! I try to spend time on characterization so even if the relationship dynamics are similar, the characters all sound like they came from their actual canon.
But really this made me so happy. I had to step away for a bit before I could come back to answer because it would have been a bunch of incoherent gibberish (this still may qualify).

Yuletide treat #1! ACCA, Nino/Jean, ~1100 words, M. The one where the coup happens and Jean becomes king instead, but really just an excuse for Nino to show off what a good Jean-worshipper he is (Hint: he’s really good at it).
Reveals are up so I can say which was my Yuletide assignment! Oofuri, Abe/Mihashi, ~2500 words. Mihashi has a big ol’ crush and he’s not doing a great job of hiding it. Hitting all the big beats here: pining, kissing, Tajima.
