leemillers tags express my feelings about this better than I could:
xokay I just want to talk about Sebastian Stan for a moment xI just want to talk about the fact that if there’s one thing Stan can do xit’s play someone broken xand Bucky Barnes is a broken soldier to his very core xpeople like to romanticize the way that his face falls when Steve looks away xbut the honest intention is so much harder to handle for me xbecause he is broken xhe’s just been through hell and somehow he got out xand he’s fucking hear-hearing his best friend xhe is being so strong for Steve x‘Yeah buddy you did it you saved the day’ xand the second Steve looks away he drops the act xhe’s in pain but Steve isn’t allowed to know that xbecause Steve is good and honest and he doesn’t give up xand he’d blame himself xand even now that he’s the hot shot xBucky Barnes is still watching his ass xhelp I have emotions
Every time I think I’m done having too many feelings about Steve and Bucky something pops up that let’s me know nope! Never done, never ever done.
one day i will reply to bucky stuff with something other than BUCKYYYYYY. today is not that day.
“But what he did with that power was write a love letter. Not just to me, but to all of us.” - Serena van der Woodsen
haha, i stopped watching right after they came out drinking, so it looks like i didn’t miss anything in that last hour. thanks, tumblr gifs!
After weeks of watching Joan and Sherlock stoically dance around each other, acknowledging their respect but not their affection, we got a single episode with Sherlock opening up about Irene, Joan furiously demanding answers about his security cameras, Sherlock informing her of his murderous intentions, and both acknowledging their companionship with the same heartfelt speech. It’s a credit to the show’s meticulous pacing of their relationship that it all made sense.
…While what happens with Moriarty remains to be seen, Sherlock and Joan’s sudden burst of mutual appreciation has been a long time coming. Every nod of approval and fond glance contributed to the slow but steady crumbling of their pride, so they could get to the point where they could tell each other, “I think what you do is amazing.”
