Wait For It (Hamilton) performed by Leslie Odom Jr. (video)
Life doesn’t discriminate
Between the sinners and the saints
It takes and it takes and it takes
And we keep living anyway
We rise and we fall and we break
And we make our mistakes
And if there’s a reason I’m still alive
When so many have died
Then I’m willin’ to—
Wait for it…
Phantom of the Opera
I am The Phantom of the Opera
And there’s a million things I haven’t done
But just you wait, just you wait…
No One Forced You To Get Married
one of my coworkers said something like this and it made me think about married culture in the US. his wife had been out of town for the week and he was really excited to go home and see her and we asked if they were doing something special, and he was like “No??? I just missed my best friend.”
the comment above is the cutest thing in the world
my officemate constantly complains about her husband and tries to get me to commiserate, but she always stops when she sees my ????? faces. lol sorry i can’t relate to hating the person i married, lady.
i’m pretty sure the scene doesn’t happen like this but I can’t really get this out of my head since the first time I listened to the reynolds pamphlet…….. @linmanuel
