Sports anime chart

If you want to watch some sports anime, but don’t know where to start, I have made this handy chart to point you in the right direction!

It is meant to be a light-hearted little joke, not a research, so obviously not all sports anime is included, and it just shows my opinion. I spent like three hours making this, so don’t repost, please. But you can delete this intro if you reblog, this rambling is getting too long XD

The first time I heard an adult say the f word was when I was in fourth grade and we were doing some project that involved us baking cookies together as a class. My teacher Ms. Lindsey, who was real sweet, was demonstrating for everybody and she asked if anyone knew how to crack an egg, and I really didn’t know how to crack an egg, but I’m a go-getter, so I raised my hand and she called on me. I instantly knew I was in trouble at that point but I’d seen my dad crack eggs hundreds of times so I figured, ya know, it can’t be thaaaat hard. So I grab the egg but I have no sense of how softly you’re supposed to tap an egg to crack it, so I just slam it against the desk and splatter raw egg ten feet in every direction and my teacher said “what the fuck, Dion?”

laugh RULE a wonderful story.

Serena Williams – RICH, ICONIC, WORLD-RENOWNED SERENA WILLIAMS – almost died after giving birth because the nurse thought her super-detailed request to combat her history of blood clots was the result of a confused woman on pain medication. (https://www.vogue.com/article/serena-williams-vogue-cover-interview-february-2018)

You could say that doctors and nurses get requests from patients all the time who think they know what they’re talking about. You could say conversations about Serena being a Black woman so her advice wasn’t taken seriously are just race baiting.

But you could also note that Black women are 243% more likely to die from pregnancy or after-childbirth related issues (https://www.npr.org/2017/12/07/568948782/black-mothers-keep-dying-after-giving-birth-shalon-irvings-story-explains-why) and that nurses throughout the industry have personal accounts of Black women not being taken seriously by white doctors (https://twitter.com/grimalkinrn/status/951170130989408256).

So if Serena Williams can almost die after giving birth because nobody was listening to her, what do you think happens when the average Black woman says “something’s not right here” and requests help?
