Yuzuru Hanyu, the reigning Olympic champion, arrives at Incheon International on February 11th for the Pyeongchang 2018 Olympics. This is his first appearance after a severe injury at the 2017 NHK Trophy resulted in a media blackout of 94 days. He added that “I felt really impatient, but I desperately did what I could with off-ice rehabilitation and treatment. I’m happy that I’ve actually come to the location of the competition.“ (x)

All of them were being paid horribly at their old jobs. They were living in horrible conditions. They had families to support but were barely making enough to feed themselves. So I paid them double, gave them shelter, and gave them food. If the work is getting done, they can have as much freedom as they want. I don’t give them metrics. The most important thing is that they’re happy.”
