yuzuru hanyu defends his olympic gold
Hello white mutuals. Before you is a charcuterie board with 15 different types of cheese. If you manage to go 12 hours without touching the cheeses you can leave this room. Good luck.
Reporter: how did you decide to add the 6th quad?
Nathan: well it never really came together in practice but I’ve already fallen so many times I figured I might as well try
Ok but can we all agree that the score board is perfection?
Adam Rippon in the top 10 after working so hard.
Vincent Zhou in 6th with that phenomenal free skate.
Nathan Chen coming back after that short program to wind up in 5th from 17th? Mind blowing.
Boyang Jin working hard and putting his all into those great nerdy performances.
Javier Fernandez finally getting an Olympic medal for Spain and for himself.
Shoma Uno proving that he’s more than just the other Japanese skater.
And Yuzuru Hanyu.
He set a goal four years ago after his first gold and fought tooth and nail to get back to the top of the podium again.
All of these men are ao full of talent and grit. I’m proud of every single one.
Well done. Your hard work is now on the world stage.
