Tsukishima’s Character Development

Ok so I’ve been freaking out over the last page of the chapter and immediately after reading it I noticed the similarities in what Tsukki said here:

and what he said to Yamaguchi during the training camp:

and of course I love the fact that they referenced this, but i noticed one slight difference in his dialogue that I thought was really interesting. At the training camp he says “I couldn’t possibly win against Ushiwaka. But even so I intend to stop whatever spikes I can.” Whereas now he said “There’s no way I can win against Kuroo-san! It’s impossible! I Never thought for a single second that I would be able to win by myself.” I just find it interesting how in the past he was putting the pressure to stop Ushijima on all on himself, and after the match he was angry at himself for not being able to do more. But now, he isn’t trying to stop them by himself and is relying on the entire team and I just love Tsukishima Kei and his character development so much and I am really excited to see how this goes.

The entire chapter I waited for Yamaguchi finally to show up… I got what I wanted and so much more… This panel… Whether soemone views them as best friends or as a ship- I just like it when they are shown as a team, I seriously needed that
