patience: a noun; the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset. 

Recently it has come to my attention that in the 2.5D/Butai community there has been a stream of asks that having been piling into the asks boxes of those who share links. A bunch of us started discussing these asks that we have been receiving and noticed a pattern. Now, we are used to large amounts asks piling in and are extremely grateful for those who ask kindly, follow our rules, and are very patient.

However, I, along with many others in this community, have been recently receiving extremely disrespectful and forceful asks in our ask boxes for links to download stages/musicals/etc. It’s not just one or two asks either, it’s countless amounts of asks throughout days at a time. If you ask once and wait a month with no answer then it’s okay to follow up since your ask either disappeared in the ask box or the box hasn’t been checked. My ask box tends to eat asks so if I missed your ask from a month ago, I swear I didn’t skip it or delete it.  

I am a busy university student who has a life outside of doing this, between working and going home every weekend to visit my family, I can’t be dedicating myself to checking my Tumblr 24/7. I feel the most disrespect when I receive 2-3 asks a day over a period of a week from the same people asking for the same thing. Where did the patience and kindness in this world go? I’m not trying to single anyone out either, a lot of you who ask for links are very kind souls and I appreciate you all who are patient. 

Now what I want to say in this post is; Stop thinking we have all the free time in the world to give you links. PLEASE learn to be patient. 

From here on out, I will be keeping my ask box closed on this blog and on @a-lucky0614 because I want this to be sorted out before I decide to give out any links again. As for the rest of the community, they will decide whether they want to keep their ask blogs open or not.

-Please support Tenimyu by buying the DVD or Blu-ray if you can!  I know it’s expensive and not always feasible to buy them overseas, having been in that situation myself until very recently.  I really am happy to provide this and give back to the community that’s given me so many downloads over the years.  But if you have the money and a way to buy it from Animate (I’d be happy to help!) I really do recommend getting your own copy.
