I already posted this (and some other tidbits) on my twitter, but here’s how i7 did in the 40th Animage Grand Prix! I’ve included the top 3 for anime so it’s easier to compare how i7 did.

Since Ten won first place, Saitou Souma had a special interview about Ten.  But since Riku won second place and it was so close to their birthday, a lot of the interview focused on both of them! Some things Souma had to say:

• Riku is cute. He literally just kept saying Riku is cute. He loves Riku so much.
• He notices Ten is a bit more dere in the anime though, and comes to the conclusion that “the Nanase family DNA is cute.”
• During the twins’ scene in episode 16 (in front of Zero Arena), Souma was told to do a retake of the scene in the usual “curt and devilish” style, because he couldn’t quite hold on all his love for Riku on the first take.
• Ten is very close to the kind of person Souma himself looks up to and aims to be like, so he’s incredibly happy Ten won first place.
