The anime of Yakusoku no Neverland, which will air Jan 2019, has confirmed that it will adapt the manga until and including the part where the children escape from Grace Field House. Cloverworks, a spinoff of A-1 Pictures, which also did Persona 5 and Darling in the Franxx, will be producing the anime, with Kanbe Mamoru directing (also Kimi to Boku and Elfen Lied). Character designs will be done by Shimada Kazuaki (also Yama no Susume S1&2, IM@S Cinderella Girls,
Mahou Shoujo Nante Mouiidesukara), series composition by Oono Toshiya (also Houseki no Kuni, Tsuritama, Gatchaman Crowds), and music by Obata Takahiro (also did some music for Ballrooom).
Emma will be voiced by Morohoshi Sumire (also Yachi in HQ, Kyouka in BSD, Mako in Ballroom), Norman by Uchida Maaya (also Red Beryl in Houseki, Hiyori in Noragami, Rikka in Chuunibyou, Alluka in HxH), and Ray by Ise Mariya (also Killua in HxH, Levy in FT, Mika in DRRR, Reg in Abyss).

AH! Well– for this reason alone really!
Instead of repeating myself over and over… Ill reference back to what I said in other post…. Also… killing him off would only make matters LOADS worse! ((facepalm))
If Ikuya wanted to see them… he DID see them and kept going! He could have walked the hell over after practice….
But he didn’t.
If Ikuya TRULY wanted to talk to Haru– their first encounter, he would have! He obviously didn’t want too, but was being pushed into it. Now keep in mind… Hiyori has been with Ikuya since America now. Ikuya was with Haru, Mako and Asahi ONE YEAR in middle school. So Ikuya and Hiyori have ‘history’. Hiyori has not left him either! He has been there!
Hiyori speaks right out what is on his mind… he doesnt tiptoe around it. Sure, we hate seeing our boys being talked down too… or even insulted! TRUST ME! I hate that too! But I mean… this is a good conflict in the show!
If Ikuya wanted to talk to Haru & Co… he COULD HAVE. He would have after practice ran short, walked his cute butt over and talked to them… heard them out. Ok, so maybe he doesn’t want to hear their excuses? People are like this! Haru & Co never thought much of Ikuya til they saw him again… so to Ikuya and Hiyori it could easily be a thing of “why now?” Ikuya is training hard for the global level… he doesn’t need this drama! (though he gonna get it)

I also feel there is so much negativity in this tag– and just wanna spread some much needed light on it too!
Let’s TRUST the writers and try to keep an open mind when it comes to the characters!
