I still can’t get over the fact that as a child Hiyori saw Ikuya as his prince and it wasn’t until much later that Ikuya told him The Little Mermaid was his favorite book.

My theory is that when Hiyori drew this, it was in reference to the Disney version, with the happy ending. That’s the version most kids are told, and he might have not realized the true version until he met Ikuya in high school again. And it’s not until they’re in college, after years of seeing Ikuya as his prince, that he starts to worry about which ending he’ll get.

Music Class with Wada-san!

Engeki Haikyuu Day (8.19) Stream!  Wada Shunsuke (the Engeki Haikyuu music composer) assigned instruments to all the Karasuno members for a new piece he’d composed for them, quickly taught them their parts, then they ran through it.  The final result!!!

(Naoki wasn’t present for this portion of the event because he was rushing over from a Mirage of Blaze performance.  He joins the group later.)

Dance Class with Hidali!

Engeki Haikyuu Day (8.19) Stream!  Hidali, their Engeki Haikyuu choreographer, told the Karasuno team to pair up and come up with a special dance move.  He would then take all of their moves and arrange them all into a short improv dance for all of them to do later.

Kazuma and Kouhei paired up right away, but just as Fucchi tried to pair with Naoki, Kairi pried Fucchi off to claim Naoki for himself.
Since Kenta, Ryoutarou, and Keita were having trouble breaking up their group of 3, they made Fucchi be by himself!  So instead of five pairs, we had three pairs, one group of three, and Fucchi all alone!
