Nicki is messy and she tried to use her rabid fanbase to bully someone into licensing their song instead of just moving on. I don’t know how much Tracy will make, since the song wasn’t officially authorized but I hope she at least wins a judgement bc this was so annoying.

I’ll bet you Tracy Chapman wouldn’t be bothered to sue over an unauthorized release if Nicki hadn’t been a brat and stomped her feet all over the Internet crying that Tracy was holding up her album’s release. Why would you peg your release to something that doesn’t belong to you?

Tracy Chapman was minding her business and suddenly had thousands of unemployed Barbz calling her everything from irrelevant to ugly all because she wants HER OWN SONGS THAT SHE WROTE to be used HOW SHE WANTS THEM TO BE USED.
