Playing Sawamura Daichi, I’m Tanaka Keita.  Thank you for all 44 performances.  With this show, everyone on Karasuno will graduate.  I had the privilege of playing Sawamura Daichi back during the first show, then it changed to Akisawa Kentarou-kun, Ken-chan, and we made that connection.  And then with the last show, I got the baton back from Ken-chan, I took it back firmly, and had the honor of playing Sawamura Daichi again for that show and now also for this, “The Strongest Team.”  For the past three years, I’ve always been a fan of Engeki Haikyuu.  I don’t know what else to say really, but really, thank you so much.  I think this production has become such a precious treasure in my life, and I think it would be wonderful if Engeki Haikyuu could have benefited anything to your lives as well.  
I don’t really like saying goodbye, so if you could say, “Fight!” when I say, “Karasuno…!” Can we do that?  Here we go.

The image is a little blurry (for me anyway), but this was fun to read. I agree! Hosoya was perfect for the role as Sentaro. Ryohei and Hosoya singing in-studio sounds like a lot of fun. 

If you can’t read it, here is what each panel says…

Panel #1:

Kimura Ryohei as Kaoru

He was in front of the mic most of the time.
He even gave suggestions for his parts and tried many variations to work out which was best. He’s got the qualities of a leader!

When I first heard his monologue for episode 1, I got goosebumps.
“Kaoru’s right here…!” I thought.

He seemed to be singing a lot too.
“Everyone, the second part is starting~”

Hosoya Yoshimasa as Sentarou

His voice was perfect for his role– He portrayed a boyish, yet sometimes serious side of Sentarou.
And his accent was spot-on!!

Nanri Yuuka as Ritsuko

Nanri-san is cute, talented, and cute!
She held her own among the male cast!
I was very impressed.
I liked her little lectures on accents. 
Even the author could never have imagined that “My Favourite Things” can sound this cute.

When she was watching the dub-over music tape, she got a little shock from (Yoko) Kanno-san’s acting as Kaoru! It was such a cute reaction, I can’t forget it!

Suwabe Junichi as Junichi

I want to call him Jun-nii
With Suwabe-san’s voice, Jun-nii’s character became even sexier! I thought I was going to die after the 4th and 9th episode sessions (from his voice)

When these two come together, the atmosphere changes!

Endou-san was very mature and ladylike when in character, but she’s a really sweet person! The [something] is amazing. She was wonderful as Yurika.

Playing Takeda Ittetsu, I’m Uchida Shige.  At the time of our very first tour three years ago, I could never have imagined that we’d be standing here three years later.  To play the same role for three years is something I’ve never done in my career as an actor, and I don’t think I ever will again probably.  It was a continuous struggle, but it was a struggle that was always producing something new, and all of those new experiences really taught me a lot.  With this as my foundation, I’d like to continue forward to the next adventure.  Thank you very much for these three years.

Hayashi Tsuyoshi

Playing Ukai Keishin, I’m Hayashi Tsuyoshi.  For as long as I can remember, probably about thirty years I think, I’ve bought Jump magazine every week.  And I read Haikyuu as well, and then the people from Nelke Planning came to talk to me because they wanted me to be Ukai Keishin.  I never thought the day would come when my name and my photo would appear in Jump, it means so much.  And as I felt that joy… Shige-san mentioned it just now, but the longest project I’ve worked on was the year and a half I spent with Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger as a ranger.  But in spring I unbelievably surpassed even that with the three years I spent as Ukai, and on top of that, somewhere in the middle I also started being his grandfather… but there has been no greater happiness than this.  Even now, I’m wearing my Ukai wig on top of the grandpa wig. Thank you so much!
