Nagisa: So, Mako-chan! What comes to mind when we talk about memories from 2nd-year high school?
Makoto: Huh? Well, let’s see… I reunited with you, and we created the swimming club…and I suddenly made Captain…
Nagisa: Eeeh~, Mako-chan, you did a really good job as the captain, though!
Makoto: Ahaha, I’d be happy if I really did fulfill my role properly.
Nagisa: You’re fine, you’re fine! Oh, and also, Gou-chan came along, and so did Rei-chan!
Makoto: We started out by fixing up the swimming pool. It was a lot of work, but also lots of fun.
Nagisa: Oh, speaking of which, a while ago, Rei-chan discovered something reeeally amazing in the club room. You’re the talk of the town right now at Iwatobi High School, Mako-chan~!
Makoto: Eh…I have a bad feeling about this…
Nagisa: Mako-chan, remember how you were asked by Gou-chan to participate in the muscle contest a couple of times?
Makoto: Y-yeah…
Nagisa: Actually, we found a commemorative photo of that time when you won the contest!! Posing like this!!
Makoto: Eeh!?
Nagisa: And because you looked soooo cool in that pose, we’ve hung the picture on the wall in the locker room~☆
Makoto: Y-you hung it up!?
Nagisa: And after that, everyone started calling you “Muscle-senpai” during swimming lessons! So you’re really popular now, Mako-chan! Hehe, how funny is that!?
Makoto: I-it’s not funny at all! P-please stop it, I’m asking you…///!!
Nagisa: I gotta practice lots and lots, so I can have muscles like Mako-chan, too!

>>> Middle School Memories (Makoto & Haruka)
Makoto: Middle school first year, huh… Haru and I have always been together, so sometimes I don’t even know when some of our memories are from.
Haruka: I think Makoto and I going to each other’s home is what I remember most.
Makoto: Yeah, you’re right. I spent a lot of time with Haru at school and club activities, but we used to hang out lots at home, too.
Haruka: We’ve been doing it since we were young, that’s why. It hasn’t changed, even now.
Makoto: Hehe, that’s true. The futon mattress you use when you stay over is still in my room at Iwatobi. You’ve also left your toothbrush there.
Haruka: Speaking of which, my mom was organizing our photo albums, and apparently she found out that you’ve been using the same towel at my house since you were 3 years old.
Makoto: Eeeh, really!? That one with the stripes, right?
Haruka: Yeah.
Makoto: Really. It certainly brings back memories! I used it lots. Ah, speaking of sleepovers, Asahi, Ikuya and I invited ourselves to you home once, didn’t we!? I think it was then, when you started taking an interest in cooking.
Haruka: Is that so…? At the time, Makoto…all you did was boil water.
Makoto: A-ahahaha…b-but, I can cook eggs sunny-side up now!
Haruka: Did you know how many times it took to teach you? When you were crushing all the eggs in your hand instead of cracking them, I was ready to give up.
Makoto: It’s hard to judge how much strength I need to crack an egg…! But recently, I didn’t mess up and was even able to make enough for Nagisa and the others. Hehe, thanks Haru, it’s all because of you!
