A concept:

I was thinking of a fantasy AU with tsukkiyama (of course) as the main pairing lately, but with me never having enough time to do complex fanart/fancomics/fanfics as of rn, it’s been quite pressing for me to just keep the ideas in. So!

My plan was: do a prologue as a comic and then write the rest out (cuz it takes me a bit less time to write and edit a story than draw and redraw it).

HCs for the AU:

• Yama is a warlock living at the edge of the forest
• He doesn’t visit a lot but children often accidentally reach him and after the encounter, they return with a find memory of dancing light and colourful magic
• Magic is, however, quite looked down upon
• Thus Yama never ventures into the big cities or towns
• But then, news if the king’s second son’s illness reach him and he recognises the affects of the sickness as a curse
• Yama then decides to go the the castle and attempt to heal the prince, Tsukishima Kei, using his magic secretly and maintain a facade of being a foreign physician
• In his time at the castle, which he spends mostly with Tsukki, trying to rid him of the dark magic that’s taken hold of him and find its source, the two develop an intimate relationship

The rest of my ideas, I’m gonna keep to myself, so as to noi spoil any major plot points. I may change some of these HCs, but for now, what do y'all think about this concept?

one of the very first akiteru/little giant AUs I ever came up with, way back in 2014 (yes, I’ve been on board this ship for a very long time 😂): a tengu takes an interest in the heir to the tsukishima shrine.
