Spring High

Now that it’s finally begun, I went to watch.
The atmosphere of That Gym, the scents, the sounds… every bit of it feels a bit nostalgic.  It’s a place brimming with a sense of youth.

I got really excited because my alma mater was competing.
And the collaboration between Spring High and Haikyuu is super cool.

I don't know that I've read anything yet that's mentioned Yuuya coming from a powerhouse volleyball school and he def hasn't mentioned playing volleyball before which probably would've come up by now if he actually had since Shou and Ryuu have I might dig into this maybe they're strong now but weren't before he's been out of high school a long while now

Today I went to go watch the 72nd National High School Volleyball Championship!  The intensity and the enthusiasm of all the players and everyone cheering in their seats was amazing.
These are matches where everything ends if you lose.

The sight of these players competing in earnest is definitely cool.
I really learned a lot.

I’m going to work hard to re-enact their passion on-stage.

Translator’s note - They made a Kagamimochi - Kagami mochi (鏡餅, “mirror rice cake”), is a traditional Japanese New Year decoration. It usually consists of two round mochi (rice cakes), the smaller placed atop the larger, and a daidai (a Japanese bitter orange) with an attached leaf on top.
