When I checked Ookouchi’s screenplay for episode 2, Cherry blossom and Joe spoke really rudely, which made me feel like while they were proper adults now, in the past they were delinquents. Skateboarding itself is built on a lot of street culture, so since they’re guys who love skateboarding it seems much more natural for them to have been like that than to have been model citizens. Since ADAM was from a well known family he couldn’t do stupid things openly so he wore a hood so people couldn’t see his face. (Utsumi)
