We're never allowed to think ab sex sorry. Teen years are hormonal but being horny before 18 is a sin. When you're horny and 18-25 its cringe. When you're horny 25-35 "you should get a partner and stop being openly horny." When you're horny 35-45 that's weird because you're "kinda old." When you're horny 45-55 you're a creep. And when you're horny 55+ you're an old person who can't and shouldn't be horny. This is how they think. Sex bad, basically. Thinking about sex is bad. Wanting sex is bad. Anything even mildly related to sex or sexuality is bad.

Cultural push back to sex and sexuality comes and goes on a cycle that dates back to BCE cultures, and I still think this specific example is fascinating in that it has got to be partly be connected to free and easy access to pornography since childhood and it'd be fascinating to research that.

I'm honestly kind of amazed that this is a hot take or anything but if you genuinely believe that the Boyfriends Webtoon is "harmful fetishism of gay men," you have swallowed a transphobic smear campaign hook, line and sinker. Like, gee, I wonder why the runaway success webcomic that's a happy slice-of-life about a polyamorous gay relationship where one of the guys is trans is being held up as the Worst Thing That Exists since it was showcased in an ad campaign? Can't be because the author is a trans man. Why on Earth would people who hate trans men accuse one of "fetishizing gay men" by creating gay smut? Of course not, obviously they're allies, considering they cannot be bothered to gender Refrainbow correctly 90% of the time they talk about him. Obviously it's just harmless joshing around when most of the comments under a post talking about it are variations on "this comic makes me wanna commit so many hate crimes." It's just venting, y'all!
