It kinda rubs me the wrong way when people place so much trust in Kiriko just because she opposes Adam (and want her to arrest him)
People can like (or dislike) a character for whatever reason, I like Kiriko too, but y’all gotta realize she’s not the solution here just because she happens to oppose a character you dislike. We have very little info about her, so headcanons and interpretations inevitably pop up. That’s all well and good, but the core of her character shouldn’t be forgotten
Her job, as a police woman, is to punish crime, no matter the reason behind it. If someone steals to survive, that’s a crime for her and it’s her job to prosecute it. Everyone at S is a criminal, if Adam gets arrested so does everyone else
What do you think would happen if she arrested Adam?
- Joe and Cherry’s reputation would be tarnished
- Shadow would get in trouble for injuring his opponents
- manager Oka would publicly be known as the irresponsible adult (at best) or literally endangering a minor by driving Reki to S (at worst)
- Miya might not be able to participate in the nationals anymore, due to his reputation
- Tadashi (and the rest of the capmen) would also be in trouble for working at S, because S doesn’t operate legally
- And that’s nothing on the hundreds of background characters, each with their own lives. Flag lady? Gone! Harry? Gone! The butterfly girls? Gone! The fangirls? Gone!
There is no good outcome to S getting raided by the cops, why do y’all want this??

I’ve been meaning to do this post for a while but keep forgetting about it and doing other things lol…
Explanations of the names of the fails that happen in the ED!
Chakuseki (着席) - This is the Japanese for “Take a seat” since he landed on his board in a sitting position.
Matasaki (股裂き) - I’d say this one is close to “Splits” but the Japanese word means “groin ripper” so much more dramatic lol
Pochan (ポチャン) - The Japanese sound for a “Splash”
Utsumi joked in an interview that it was supposed to be similar to the “I’ll be back” scene from the terminator.
Nutcracker - this one is pretty obvious to English speakers but apparently Utsumi had “Gold Target” written in the original storyboard.
According to Utsumi, when one of the skater staff saw it they said that there was a better slang word to use for it and told her to use Nutcracker.
In Japanese, testicles are known as kintama (金玉) which literally means gold balls.
Hitori Piledriver (一人パイルドライバー) - This means “Solo piledriver”.
A piledriver, if you don’t know, is a wrestling move where an opponent turns someone upside-down, and drops into a sitting or kneeling position while holding them to drive them head-first into the mat. So this is a person dropping themselves head first onto the ground.
Reito Maguro (冷凍マグロ) - Is Japanese for “frozen tuna”. It’s when you step off a ramp while skateboarding but just fall straight down like you’re frozen.
