Palamedes Sextus and Camilla Hect are both goal-oriented and detail-oriented individuals. They take minutes and notes and write plans and arguments back and forth to each other. They’re not flying by the seat of Camilla’s pants here, is what I’m saying.

I don’t know why, but I really really like Paul. I miss Palamedes and Camilla dearly, but I love this little weirdo who can use knives and do necromancy and is a version of the sixth duo where both of them survive

and paul is fun name for them actually its silly and mundane for such an extraordinary person and also links back to paul the apostle which is bleh BUT sword and book its perfect its cam its pal its PAUL nona the ninth nona the ninth spoilers ntn spoilers the locked tomb tlt spoilers paul camilla hect palamedes sextus

genuinely surprised how many people hate paul! i understand missing camilla and palamedes but when they finally became paul i was super happy. it was the perfect resolution for them - to achieve a life where they will never again be apart. plus i just genuinely like paul as a character, they retained all of cam and pal’s best parts and i’m super excited to see more of them in alecto. also their eyes sound cool.

shoutout to judith deuteros for, in a series full of people simply not having a good time of it right now, being in probably the top five people consistently simply not having a good time of it right now. again I cannot exaggerate how stiff the competition she’s up against is, but for three books now nothing good has ever happened to judith deuteros and no one but corona seems to worry overmuch about it
